Prevention of specific behavioral and learning disorders in pre-schoolage

This bachelor thesis deals with prevention of specific behavioural and learning disorders in preschool children. The bachelor thesis is aimed to find out the awareness and experience of parents about preventive measures for preschool children and the impacts of implemented preventive measures. The theoretical part of thesis describes the issues of prevention, specific behavioural disorders and specific learning disabilities. The work also deals with the early detection of the disorder, cooperation, communication between involved parties. The empirical part consists of mixed research - the result of the questionnaire, a semi-structured interview with a parent, a psychologist, a special ed teacher/speech therapist, and case study. The first research technique was a questionnaire, which was focused on finding out the awareness and experience of parents about preventive measures, their satisfaction with the setting, and their implementation. Furthermore, three case studies were prepared, which showed us the impact of implemented preventive measures, views, and attitudes of parents and experts on the issue. Case study of patient with diclocation of acromioclavicular joint

Title: Case Study of a Patient with Dislocation of Acromioclavicular Joint. Thesis aim: The aim of this thesis is to discuss the rehabilitation of a patient in the state after reposition of the acromioclavicular joint with temporary K-wire transfixation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part the kinesiology of the upper extremity and cervical spine, types of dislocations, clinical picture, and the rehabilitation is discussed. The practical part includes an anamnesis, examination, and therapy progress of a 31 year old man one week after the removal of the transfixation by K-wire. Clinical findings: The measurement of ROM showed a marked limitation in the movement of shoulder joint. Both flexion and abduction of the right shoulder joint was severely limited. The active abduction was limited to 40ř, and active flexion 80ř. The internal and external rotation was also severely limited, both active and passively. All the movements of shoulder joint except extention were accompanied by pain. Methods: Methods used in the rehabilitation of this patient were active and passive movements to improve ROM. The thesis has both a theoretical and a practical part. Within the theoretical part it deals with problems and the characteristics of food intake failures, especially with the perception of her/his body during maturation, pubescence, adolescence, early adulthood and middle adulthood and the impact of psychological and social factors and risk factors. It points out the possibilities of a probable occurrence of a food intake failures, the attitude of the society and parents. It deals with different attitudes to slenderness, self-esteem, eating habits of girls and how present-day girls are informed about food intake failures. The diploma thesis main aim within a practical part is the illustration of a theoretical part and the description of subjectively sensed possible causes from women who suffered from food intake failures. There are 6 casuistries described here which are subsequently summarized in the results. Possible comments and ideas are mentioned in the discussion.
